GLC 2019

The Global Leadership Camp (GLC) 2019 by MSGA featured a series of team-building sessions, focus groups, and speaker sessions as well as forums discussing on the Leadership Industry; and it would have been impossible without your support!

We would like to thank our strategic partners, sponsoring bodies, event supporters and speakers who have attended this event. We are deeply honoured to receive the opportunity to work with you and hope that we can further this partnership for future undertakings and for the benefits of both parties.

To all participants who came from different parts of the globe, we highly appreciate your involvement throughout the camp and we could never have wished for a better crowd. Thank you for being so engaging and supportive.

With a total of 50 student leaders attended the event at KPMG Tower, this two-days event; Global Leadership Camp 2019 was a tremendous success for Malaysian Students’ Global Alliance (MSGA).

We hope to expand this fantastic initiative even further for the next editions of GLC and humbly hope for better collaborations with the existing Member Councils and External Youth Organisations.

The Video Exchange Program is a two month program where groups of students from Malaysia will be paired with a Mentor who is a Malaysian University student that is currently studying internationally. The groups of students, however, would need one adult (a Guardian) to act as their supervisor and communicator.

MYPS 2019

MYPS, a policy competition in partnership with MBM, SMSA and 6 Malaysian policy institutions to create a student-led, professionally developed policy for #MalaysiaBaharu. As the inheritors of our country and the ones who will shape Malaysia’s future, it is important to have student input in government policy. This competition is a fantastic opportunity to do just that. Teams work to submit a policy, and the best ones will be presented at the MSGA Summit at Sunway University in July, to policy experts and government officials.

The Malaysian Students’ Global Alliance (MSGA) Global Article Series is a collection of articles written by and sourced from Malaysian students from all across the world on some of the contemporary issues and challenges facing Malaysia.

#Undi18 is MSGA’s campaign to lower the voting age in Malaysia from 21 to 18.  We believe that 18 year olds, having been entrusted with a wide range of legal and social responsibilities, should be given the right to participate in the democratic process.

The MSGA Summit series began as an idea to gather Malaysian from all around the world to talk about what we felt was important to them. Their experiences, failures and successes meld into the experience of being a Malaysian student, regardless of place of study.

Throughout 2017, we have invited our member organisations to submit articles and interviews with the Malaysian diaspora worldwide on issues that matter to them.  This work is part of MSGA’s effort to facilitate a global exchange of ideas, experiences and opportunities.
